Funded during the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) II period under the Turkey-EU Financial Cooperation, the Technical Assistance for Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination Project is carried out in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders in Turkey, within the framework of three components and with a unique operational plan. The project will support the development of common understanding in ten thematic areas related to fundamental rights, while promoting coordination and cooperation in the IPA Fundamental Rights Sub-Field, and building the capacity of stakeholders.

The project was launched on 18 January 2022 with a total budget of 1.4 million Euros to be completed in 24 months.
