In order to contribute to disaster preparedness, disaster management and post-disaster reconstruction and recovery activities, the First Focus Group Meeting of the Mapping Study, one of the activities to be conducted on disaster management responsive to fundamental rights and gender equality, was organised on 8 February 2024 with the participation of representatives from NGOs, international organisations and public institutions.

The meeting facilitated the contribution of the stakeholders to the Mapping Study on the identification of  national and international policy documents and strategies addressing disaster risk reduction approaches and activities from the perspective of fundamental rights.
