An online meeting was held with the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) on 25 January 2024 in which FRA representatives provided information on the agency’s mandate and an overview of activities through presentations on the following topics: “Justice, victims’ rights and judicial cooperation; Data protection, privacy and new technologies; Asylum and migration”, “Support for human rights systems and defenders”, and “Equality, non-discrimination and racism”.

In the meeting, participation of candidate countries in FRA with an observer status and the collaboration opportunities between Türkiye and FRA were also discussed.

The meeting was followed by 94 participants from 18 Turkish Institutions.
