The 3rd Advisory Board Meeting of Implementing Gender-Responsive Planning and Budgeting in Türkiye Project was held on 21 February under the chairmanship of Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services, and with the participation and opening speeches of Tuba Vural Çokal the Deputy Chairman of the GNAT Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men, Kutluhan Taşkın, the Vice President of Strategy and Budget, Alexander Fricke, Head of Civil Society, Fundamental Rights, Judiciary and Home Affairs Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, and Asya Varbanova, UN Women Türkiye Country Director.

The meeting, attended by relevant public institutions, presented for development of Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting Strategy Document and Action Plan prepared in accordance with the decisions taken in the previous Advisory Board meetings. Strategy Document and Action Plan aims to collect data in order to develop evidence-based policies and to establish a gender responsive budgeting approach in public institutions.
