The Sector Coordination Meeting was held on 10 January 2023 in the IPA Fundamental Rights sub-field, where the Directorate for EU Affairs is the lead institution.

The meeting was chaired by Ms. Çağrı Çakır, Head of Political Affairs Department of the Directorate for EU Affairs, where the 2024 programming preparations were discussed within the scope of the IPA III period (2021-2027), and project ideas were discussed with the representatives of nearly 20 institutions working in the field of fundamental rights. Moreover, information was also given on the current situation and evaluation activities of the Fundamental Rights Sub-Field for the IPA II (2014-2020) period.
