The 1st phase of the training on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, one of the 10 thematic areas of the Fundamental Rights Strengthening Sector Coordination Project, was held on 24-25 January with the participation of 25 representatives from stakeholder institutions.

In the training given by Doç. Dr. Ayşe İdil Aybars, EU’s acquis and practices on the rights of persons with disablities, along with relevant EU strategy and policy documents, and the instruments of international organisations such as the CoE and the UN were covered.
