Within the scope of our Project “Restructuring and Strengthening Preventive and Protective Services Against Violence Against Women and Girls Affected by Earthquakes in Türkiye”, being implemented under the IPA Fundamental Rights sector, the training activities started!

The “Training Program on Legislation and Fundamental Principles in Combating Violence Against Women” is among the first and most important activities carried out by the Project, held in Ankara on 14-16 January 2026.

Bringing together public personnel who provide violence prevention and protection services, the Program has a critical role in developing the capacity of personnel contacting with our citizens directly in the field.

With a budget of 18.5 million EUR, the Project will continue to support women and girls affected by the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye with its activities throughout 36 months.
