The second of the trainings for law enforcement forces regarding human rights standards was held on 25-26 September in Ankara.  In total, 35 representatives (12 women & 23 men) from the Turkish National Police and Gendarmarie General Command were participated.

The training covered the EU acquis and international standards and practices on the promotion and protection of fundamental rights in Türkiye’s EU accession process, as well as freedom of assembly and association, prevention of torture and ill-treatment, and combating violence against women.
