The first of our trainings within the scope of the activities with regard to the integration of fundamental rights and gender equality perspective to the disaster management,  which is the main focus of the extension period of the Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination Project,  was held on 25-26 April.

The training held with the participation of … representatives  (… women & … men) from Ministry of Interior, provided information on human rights-based approaches to disaster risk reduction and international frameworks and standards. Additionally, the importance of continuity of fundamental rights and services in disaster risk reduction efforts and enhancing social resilience was emphasized from the perspective of vulnerable groups.
